The Inside Scoop!!

“We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.”

Hi, my name is Trixy and I like to believe that I live by one philosophy that is to never let any two days be the same.  I personally believe in always doing the things in life that makes you happy. For me travelling and exploring has always been a major part of who I am as a person. I have had the privilege of embodying the phrase “I Live where you Vaca”, I have gotten great joy in discovering the hidden wonders of this beautiful island of Tobago.

Sometimes you find yourself daydreaming about where you would be if you could just go anywhere, Picture white sandy beaches, friendly people and magnificent terrains that are not always visible to the naked eyes. You’ve made a perfect choice if you’ve pictured the majestic island of Tobago! Tobago is perfect for restoration: lazing on picture-perfect beaches or an escape into nature – whether silently observing the island’s diverse wildlife, or pushing your body to the limit while mountain biking or windsurfing! As a Local I am proud to say that Tobago is one of the few remaining Caribbean oases not overrun by tourism, with idyllic beaches, unspoiled rain forest, and folk traditions that have stood the test of time.

You’re familiar with the phrase "work hard and play hard": the island’s an economic powerhouse and in some ways the festival capital of the Caribbean, where business can be conducted. But then there are havens like Lover’s bay, where you can spend the weekend turtle watching, kayaking and hiking in near perfect peace. This blog is here to help you make the most of your time, by giving you the inside scoop of not only the known beaches and villas or hotels, but give you a sneak peek into the places only the natives know about.

Get the 411 on all the undisturbed and not yet fully appreciated secret spots in the beautiful Island called Tobago. Come and take this journey with me and rediscover the beauty of the unknown.
